Sweetness Abound

My girl makes her mark outside The Candy Kitchen in MN

Hi everyone, hope your week is off to a good start! ! ! I know I've been slacking on the blog front lately and hope you aren't disappointed. I have so many things to share, good and exciting things.

Today! An Update from the Land of Thrift:

Seriously. You will not believe what I found at the thrift store this past week. Let me first say - this is no ordinary thrift store. No sir-ee, this is Thee Magical Thrift where in time, if i'm patient, manifests everything I ever wish for! This time - a practically brand new Epson printer, that works, and just needs a refill of inks!!! Are you kidding me? I couldn't believe my eyes. But it's true, it was there, and it was cheap. It was a major goal of mine to have one by years end. I had already put aside a chunk of mula from my Etsy sales, plotting and planning my move. Then when I least expected it, Magical Thrift struck again. As soon as I got home I tested a print (then the ink ran out,) but it printed lovely w/ perfect matching colors!! The cashola I saved will go to other creative biz needs! Its motivating to let my creativity circle around and fund things like art supplies, or retreats, or classes, or eventually - my livelihood. Hooray for that.

I leave you w/ a badass quote I found by George Herbert: "Chase brave employment with a naked sword throughout the world."

.... until next time!

LOOoooVE!
